Faces of The Forge Cycleworks

Mike

The Boss!

Mike

Mike started The Forge Cycleworks almost 10 years ago, back then called Common Assault just off the main high street. Roll forward a couple of years and a location change and here we are. Mostly seen drinking green tea or chatting he makes sure everything runs smoothly!

Martin

Mechanic

MTR

Martin is our main mechanic and tamed race whippet. Need to go faster or how to shave a few grams of the bike, he's the man to talk to. Bike making a weird noise or just not quite riding right? He's the man to sort it, with years of working in the trade. He can probably fix your bike just by looking at it!

James

Jack of all trades!

James

James is the chameleon of The Forge, there's not many things he can't do. From helping you choose right bike, picking up the spanners when needed, and playing tech support, he's always keen to help with whatever is needed.

Mark

Saturday Lad!

Mark

Mark rolled upto the shop mid ride sometime ago to say "Hi" and was just such a lovely chap Mike decided to offer him a job! Mark's our resident Roadie, although rumor has it he has a mountain bike in a box, somewhere...

Ben

Sunday Lad!

Ben

Ben has just started with us and is swiftly getting the hang of it. Younger, fitter, and without the sense of fear he's happy getting wheels of the ground, showing the rest of us how it's done. He might even steal the King of Wheelies crown from Martin!
