We’re a local bike shop, and our main focus is on giving a fantastic quality of service.

Whether you're after a first bike or bike number 10 for a diehard rider and everyone in-between, we’re sure we’ll be able to help you pick the perfect new ride.

We’re also quickly establishing ourselves as a premier dealer of eBikes on the south coast. With access to award winning Electric Mountain Bikes, like Trek, Merida's and Lapierre.

We're dedicated to providing a great service to everyone, we have a fantastic workshop and we can we can normally turn servicing work round in less than 48 hours getting you back on your bike sooner.

Mike

The Boss!

Mike started The Forge Cycleworks almost 15 years ago, back then called Common Assault just off the main high street. Roll forward a couple of years and a location change and here we are. Mostly seen drinking green tea or chatting he makes sure everything runs smoothly!

Martin

Mechanic

Martin is our XC/Gravel demon. Often seen on the Strava KOM boards, he's the man to help you go faster. Whether that's how to shave a few grams of the bike or the fastest rolling tyres, he knows. With years of spannering in the bike trade, there's not much he can't fix.

Mark

Shop Morale Officer!

Although more often seen in riding gear, Mark's our go to guy when we need a hand in the shop. He's our resident Roadie, and with a impressive handful of rides in the mountains, he's probably fitter than all of us put together! Mind you he does also know all the best coffee and patisseries stops.

Mike W

Mechanic

Mike W is our other mechanic, with a wealth of knowledge he's quickly become part of the team. Need to know how to set your suspension up? Mike's the guy for you. He's also a man who loves his tech, just ask him about how a wireless dropper post can change your life!!
